Modified on Fri, 2 Jun, 2023 at 3:12 PM

If your property uses a GateHawk video intercom, you can invite guests to your community using their own personalized access credentials through the GateHawk Mobile App.

Adding a Guest

To give a guest gate access in the GateHawk Mobile App:

  1. Log into the GateHawk app

  2. Tap Guests (person icon) in the navigation bar at the bottom of the page

  3. Tap Add Guest in the top right-hand corner of the page

  4. Input your guest's Full NamePhone Number, and Email Address

  5. Tap Next

  6. Choose the access period for the guest

    1. Today gives gate access to the guest until midnight that day

    2. Daily allows you to choose the days of the week their access will be active

    3. Custom allows you to set specific days of the week, time windows, and dates their access will be active

  7. If Daily or Custom are selected, tap Next

  8. Choose the days and times your guest will have access

  9. Tap Add Visitor

Your guest will receive an email containing their unique access PIN and QR code to access your community. The email will also include the days and times their access is active. Now, your guest can access your community by typing their PIN code into the keypad (physical or touchscreen) or scanning their QR code into the intercom’s built-in camera; no app download required!

Removing a Guest

If you need to revoke a guest’s gate access:

  1. Log into the GateHawk app

  2. Tap Guests (person icon) in the navigation bar at the bottom of the page

  3. Tap the Delete (red trashcan icon) next to the guest whose access you wish to revoke

  4. Tap Remove in the popup window

Once removed, your guest will no longer have access to your community.
