If your community is equipped with a GateHawk Intercom System, you will receive video and audio calls from guests at your community’s gate. However, if you choose not to receive video calls, you can easily disable video calls using the GateHawk Mobile App. When video calls are disabled, all calls from guests using the intercom system will come to you as a two-way audio call (similar to that of a phone call).
Disabling Video Calls
By default, GateHawk enables video calls from the intercom system. To disable this feature:
Log into the GateHawk app
Tap Settings (gear icon) in the navigation bar at the bottom of the page
Under the section titled Video Calls, tap the Enable video calls from visitors toggle (the feature is disabled when the toggle is to the left with a gray bar)
Enabling Video Calls
If video calling is currently disabled in your app, you can easily re-enable it following these steps:
Log into the GateHawk app
Tap Settings (gear icon) in the navigation bar at the bottom of the page
Under the section titled Video Calls, tap the Enable video calls from visitors toggle (the feature is enabled when the toggle is to the right with a blue bar)
