If you live in a community with a GateHawk Video Intercom or a telephone entry system, you can use a card, keyfob, or other physical credential (provided by management) to unlock the gate.
Locate the reader panel
While standing at the Video Intercom unit, hold the card or keyfob up to the reader panel on the front of the unit. The credential will need to be very close to (or touching) the panel in order to read correctly.
Once the unit reads the card or keyfob, the gate will unlock and a confirmation message will be displayed on the Video Intercom screen. You can now enter the community.
If you receive an error message
If you see an error message or the gate fails to open, it could be that the card or key fob needs to be closer to the reader or that the code associated with the card or key fob is invalid. Please see your community manager if you continue to experience problems.
